I've had 3 or 4 and have 1 now. He was a rescue and didn't like other animals. When the in-laws moved in with us the brought their little 30lb mutt. Took me a month of walking them together and feeding them on their leash a foot apart but he is fine with her now. Won't even eat out of her bowl. Another I had was GREAT with the kids, but went nuts when they were swimming. He too was afraid they were drowning. You won't walk into my house if he hasn't be introduced that's for dang sure. But after 3-4 times, you can come and go as you please. I'll never have anything but Rotties. Buddy, current Rottie, say someone running toward the house in dark brown clothes right at dusk. Next noise i heard was the shattering of the window. Buddy was still in the house and UPS man was across the street with dirty pants. My package was in the yard. UPS came to the house during daylight and walked slowly after that

That is a lot of dog to be handled. Your question about if they are "easy to train" makes me think your not very experienced in training dogs.
A dog that size with the temperament they tend to have would require experienced owner IMO.
I spent two years before I got my dog learning about dog training, breeds, reading and watching everything I could find on breeds and training. Talked to my local K-9 Officers to get their thoughts, picked their brains over a few times. Really took the time to be sure that I was ready to deal with a large dog that is not a lab or golden-doodle or what not (got a doberman...kind of mix dobie but shes mostly dobie)
Really do your homework and make sure you are ready to handle a dog like this. Going from a Chihuahua mix to a Rottweiler is like going from a BB gun to a 50 cal.

Dogs of any breed brought together in a new environment for 1 or both need to learn the adjustment period. That is on the owner to teach them. All dogs of any breed are capable of getting into fights. It happens. The result? Rotts, like many other so-called "aggressive" types, usually win the fights. That may be the main reason rott rescues are full of rotts that "did in their smaller housemates, which is probably true. Good luck with whatever your choice is. Like all animals, dogs fight, just not as much as people. Addendum: Possibly having lots of "toy" distractions might help. ...------

Neighbor in Weatherford had two Rottweilers. I had to shoot them when they got in my little pasture and killed a calf and then were trying to kill the momma cow. It was an incredibly vicious attack. I had two little girls and was thankful it wasnt one of them outside at the time those dogs went bonkers.

Not a big fan of them, but a wee bit of humor about one... The boat dealer I worked with back in the 80's had a rott and a big female doberman. If you were "ok" you're clear to go. We all went to Port O'Connor on Labor Day weekend, left out Friday, came back in Monday night. Usually when Carl pulled into the yard, the dogs were there waiting. We pulled in to drop of the boats...no dogs. Hmmm.
The back door to his shop was pried open, we heard a wimpering "HELP ME" The two dogs were sitting in front of the bathroom door.
The dude broke in Friday night and had been trapped by the dogs till Monday night. Sucks to be you dude, might want to reconsider your life choices.
