No idea. I never look at my paychecks. Direct deposit. same here, but knowing she was paid today I went back and looked at today's deposit with her last check and it was the same to the penny.

Employers are allowed to use publication 15 from 2017 until Feb 15th.
When I checked in mid Jan , pub 15 for 2018 was not available.
I am printing the 2018 version as I am typing this, I will write the first
checks using this data tomorrow.
Will see how it affects my people.

The HR department probably hasn't applied the new tax tables yet. I think they have until Feb 15 to make it happen. I know our HR department just got their hands on it yesterday. They said it was "iffy" if they could get it all uploaded before they process payroll tomorrow.
