Whitney can be a a really good lake and then at times it can really hurt your pride. I have yet to find a lake that hasn't hurt my pride at least once...

Whitney can be a a really good lake and then at times it can really hurt your pride. I have yet to find a lake that hasn't hurt my pride at least once... Ain't that the truth!!!!

Big Sam for the first time in 2018, not sure why it took me so long. I've fished many East Texas region lakes including Toledo, Murvaul, Fork, Athens, Palestine, Pinkston, Holbrook, Quitman, Hawkins, Winnsboro, Houston Cty, LOP, Monticello, Bob Sandlin, Tawok, Martin Crk, Cedar Ck, Welsh and probably few more. Wouldn't mind going back to all of these, sooner than later. Really looking forward to Sam Rayburn trip this spring.

Going to fish the Apostle islands on Lake Superior and take a swing at musky on Green Bay. Pretty country. Should be a good trip. I was up there a few days last year. Only fishing day I spent at Mille Lacs and it was outstanding.
