I'd have to pass on GE. They took their culture so far they just screw everything up. GE got rid of a bunch of people, they screwed up everything they touched. But it was to late. GE needs to Six Sigma stupid!!!

Thanks, Billy

Typically not a good time to invest in a stock.

yep they bought a pump company a few years ago for a premium at about 2.2 billion, that most thought was worth about 1.2-1.5 then bought another big pump company about 8 months ago and put it all back on the market about a month ago. Theses pump companies make about 2 billion a year in revenue and net profit about 20-25% depending on oil prices. They are not going to make anything off of this and makes me think they are hurting bad with oil prices on the way. I wouldn't buy right now for sure.

Doesn't seem investors are too worried about it though, only .38 down today after being up almost a buck yesterday ... weird!

Why would you put money in this stale company when so many are performing at a much higher level over a long period of time.

GE has not done anything for 10 years but give back less than stellar returns. All around the market exist opportunities...not recovery imo.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

GE no longer makes appliances.....they are still selling them on sale, but don't expect warranty and service from them.

With that being said....invest in them? heck no!!

Apparently some think GE only makes appliances.
