I fished a Redman tournament on Toledo Bend once and the winner caught his fish in 50 FOW in some flooded timber. Evidently he knew how to fizz because none died. Deepest I fish is 35' and the fish are mostly suspended in trees are creek ledges. I watched a BASS tournament once I believe on Lake of the Ozarks and Larry Nixon was catching them in 80 FOW on Zara Spooks. Yep on Zara Spooks and won the tournament.

60’ in San Diego on San Vincent drop shorting for 8 pound + bass, 40’- 50’ on ray Roberts during late summer. I’d rather have that deeper water...

That beats me James. Deepest I ever caught em was on Table Rock in October, 104' but we were catching them good on a dropshot about 45' down.

I caught em on a Spook in 60' on Lake Ouachita in Ark.

40' to 60' in southern CA when I lived there. Drop shot fishing is your friend when the fish go deep in the winter.

The only difference between a little girls scream and a warrior's battle cry is the direction your'e running!

Thinking that 20 ft is the length of your boat, 35 feet ain't that deep. I have caught bass in 40ft on Conroe. But that was one time in weather similar to this week.

Caught some fish in 35' at Falcon once. Normally 25 is where we top out. We have tried deeper with little success
