Man this thing ain’t no joke this year. Came on last night during the game now I’m laid up. Wow Two quick questions: Did you get a flu shot? Have you seen a doctor?

no and no. Wife had it, took her to doctor Saturday, confirmed flu A, I have exact same symptoms and it came on exactly the same

That's no reason to pass on seeing the doctor. Upwards of 35,000 Americans die of the flu and flu-related causes a year.

Flue shot or not... folks are getting it. Heard that parts of Texas have it worse than in any part of the country.

GL Frank, hope you feel better soon. I've been laid up since last week and yesterday was when I felt 85-90%. Today I've been raking leaves and that 'bout kicked my butt. Back in the house chillin' out. Doc said mine was Influenza B.....I know it whooped me!

Ive heard type A is no joke. Just saw that there are something like 7 deaths in dfw due to the flu?

the JPS ER was full of flu patients coming and going all day on Christmas.

The wife and I both had it. Her before Christmas and me after. Type A but we had the shot earlier and didn’t get knocked down like some folks. Dr. said the shot keeps it down even if you get it.

I came down with it the thursday before Christmas, i still have chest flem and snot nose. I havent been that kind of sick in many years, felt like death warmed over

I had to break down and go to the doctor this morning. Been down since Saturday and wasn’t getting any better. Hopefully he fixed me up.....
