I fished with him once on lewisville. He injured his back a few days before and couldnt stand up for long periods of time. He literally crawled around the boat to get around. I thought this guy is either crazy or dedicated. Prayers for Robert, his family and friends.

I thought this guy is either crazy or dedicated. Prayers for Robert, his family and friends. One day Robert called me up and said he would need my help for the upcoming weekend Century tournament. Robert was an A/C guy and said he had a small accident at work. He shows up at the tournament with a cast and pins in his arm. And as crazy as we thought he was for fishing, it was even crazier for anyone to think he wasn't going to fish. When we were fishing the old Anglers Choice team tournaments I was totally in awe of the number of people at weigh ins that would come up to talk to Robert. He was known and liked by so many people and there was never anything but smiles and great conversations and I really looked up to Robert and respected the type of man he was and was so glad to be his friend.
