California hasn`t gone that way yet so it`s going to be a while.
The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything. Remember what He has done and remember that He is not done yet!-- GOD IS GOOD

I think that the problem with anything electric is the battery. There needs to be research done on finding some other combination of elements that provides the bang for the buck as fossil fuels. If there is something that can provide electricity, with out having to store it.. then the problem is solved. I know that is asking a lot.. but I just don't think that any kind of battery solution is the REAL solution.

It is perfect for our size boats. It's only bounced out of the water one time. It was on Hubbard in 25-30mph winds. I shouldn't have even been on the lake, but it was a tourney....so I toughed it out. It is strong enough to hold my boat, AND a friends FX21 tied to my boat, on a spot in 15-20mph winds. The motor, using 2 group 31 Optima batteries, is capable of lasting a full day of continuous use in high winds. The motor is very efficient. It even fits under the original Skeeter cover that was designed for a Maxxum 80.

If an electric outboard is feasible, California will require them soon.

I already bought a HB Helix 10" SI to pair it with.

You'll try to figure out how you fished without it once you get it.

If an electric outboard is feasible, California will require them soon. Nothing needs to be feasible to be passed into law in California

1200 lbs Tesla battery, " I think we're going to need a bigger boat" EB We would need a big boat for sure, but I bet Tesla could get it to fit in a Skeeter or Ranger. And his "250" sized motor would out accelerate everyone on the lake probably. Hole Shot? More like whiplash!
