Lifetime memories for both of you - beautiful pictures too.
Just finished reading your Part 1 and checking out all the pictures. I really wish I had done something like this with my son when I had the chance, but other activities called . . . . sigh.......

Great pics. Love the Big Bend. And sharing the trip with your youngster will mean more to him than you will ever know. He probably will tell you one day maybe even treat his kids to the same trip.

Love that entire area. Took a college Botany course for ten days to the Big Bend area one summer. I remember it like it was yesterday. Great pics

The "window" at Chisos Mountain Basin is one of my all time favorite spots.
I have taken a number of motorcycle tours with this as the end point.
