Not a big deal. Did it on a Friday, no swelling, just sore for a few days. I did it in my mid twenties because I just wasn't into the whole kid/family thing. Never regretted it.....and the ladies back then luved me for it...:)

Had mine done on a Friday in the mid 70s. Sat and relaxed over the weekend with the ice pack and baths as directed.
Back to work on Monday carrying a toolbag around Manhattan.
Been shooting blanks ever since.

My plan is to have it done the Wednesday the week of the NCAA tournament so I have an even better excuse to sit and do nothing but watch basketball for four straight days before I have to go to work again.

I haven't had it done, but need to. Not sure about your insurance but since you had a child this year, wouldn't it be better to get it done this year since your deductible it probably met? Or is it covered under the birth control deal, like my wifes Macarena thingamagig. Yeah I thought of that, and in the long run it would be cheaper. But with the 2016 approved procedure they use tap water for recovery. The same tap water that is turning the frogs gay. In 2017 they are FDA approved to use a synthetic water that has no gay frog side effects. Maybe you want to take the chance of becoming a gay frog to save a few bucks but I'm not chancing it homie, FDA approved heterosexual recovery water for me. Nah jk, I just want to put it off till the NCAA tournament next spring.

man i had a bad experience. well the procedure itself wasn't that bad, i took it easy for the rest of the day, iced my ballz, all that. day or so later felt pretty decent.
They gave me a post-op antibiotic to take. 1 a day for 3 days. a couple days later i started feeling horrible, i mean really really bad - tremendous pain ... but i started to realize i was hurting more in my extreme lower abdomen and toward the back. long story short, i ended up in the hospital for a week with acute kidney failure, probably due to a bad reaction to the antibiotics. after a while my kidneys bounced back and started working again, but acute renal failure is no joke.
other than that it was great.

I need to. I just bought a 100 pack of random protections on Amazon the beginning of the month. In 4 years when they are gone I'm getting snipped. You won't run out. Trust me. I'm down to 96

It's a breeze, just like a window open and cool, ocean air blowing right on top of it. That is, after you've had your Valium. I was feeling no pain. I woulda let Tammy Faye work down there after that pill! Just gotta take it easy for a week. I went through several bags of frozen peas, too. It was a breeze, I say......

Nothing to it. Very little discomfort and back to normal in no time.
And I know who "Jeff" is.
