Put wet clothes in dryer. 60 min. later, Nada, clothes still wet. Dryer no get hot. Break out(P.O.S.) owners manual, multi meter and go on line for troubleshooting info. 2.5 hours later all components ck. good. Down to last part in system(timer switch). No test data avail.(*!!!) Turn dryer on and roughly rotate switch around thru all dry cycles. Presto, hot air. Go figure! New timer switch on order next day air. $150.00 service call savings along with self appointed appliance repairman certification.

The agitator stopped working on our clothes washing machine. Watched a YouTube video and learned about agitator dogs. $3 later, washer is fixed.

Tried drying a comforter and it blocked the air flow. Blew a $5 fuse. Glad it blew or it might have done worse.

First cause of problem was operator error. Leave appliances to the experts (females)

Thermal fuse.....? $10 Gas? Coils are out..Won't light.... All ya have to do with the timer switch is unplug it and pop a new one in after ya get the back off. Can be checked with a multi-meter also. Timer Switch $100-110. Always check to see if vents are clogged.

It`s 80 blankity blank degrees here, hang it up with the low humidity it should be dry in a matter of 30 minutes.

Keep an eye on the heating element. All that heating, then cooling makes the metal brittle. Then just a heavy vibration can cause it to break. I've had to replace a few.

Maybe it was a one time thing, maybe the timer was just stuck./////////////////////// Took switch apart today. Burnt contacts. Could have actually repaired switch with a drop of soldier on contacts, but had already ordered new switch.
