Hello!
I've been looking for a long time for a way to launch my boat by myself. I'm really tired of busting my butt and getting my feet wet in the process of launching the boat. Recently, stumbled upon this Dakota Boat Retriever device in a google search.
Has anyone heard of it? Or tried it? Know of anything similar?

A little expensive for me at $430 and youd have to have a courtesy dock for it to work. It looks pretty cool though.

Thats pretty neat device, but if I have a courtesy dock that close to the ramp, I can just walk it off . Does it say how much cord comes with it, would it be enough to do that at squaw Creek or is it just too far

Make it difficult if you have guides on the trailer also....I would save my money and get an ulterra

IMO it looks like someone over thought the problem. You have to have a clear shot between your trailer and the dock and be at the dock to prevent boat damage and any wind could be an issue. Easier to tie a rope and float then pull. An ulterra also works
