I would run with a jump box if it were me. Brandon is right.

It�s a concern, but there is only one way to find out if they will hold a charge. Plus, drifting won�t use much power. Just as long as I can crank the big motor, I should be able to make it out just fine. I�m more worried about the old tires blowing out and catching bait. Once those slight concerns are taken care of, I will worry about the other issues.

Go prepared but don�t sweat the small stuff. Life jackets and sound making device on board I hope.

Just made it back to the house. Throne post by the way. It was so good to be back on the water! Bait was easy to catch, kind of small but we got all we needed in just a few throws. Set for the forst drift and for some reason the bait boy unclipped his drift sock and let it sink, by the time I could get the boat turned it was gone. I still had the one I use on the bow so we made due with just that one. We couldn�t keep the baby bass from eating the fresh cut shad, but did end up catching two decent cats before we called it quits. It�s been way to Long since I made it to the lake so this was more of a get to know you kind of trip and the fish were just a bonus. Everything ran fine and everything worked so that was a good sign. Ok, I�m done pooing, got to go clean fish and drink a beer.

Glad to hear it went well, both on the throne and with the boat-

not monsters, but I am proud of them. it took a lot of work getting the boat back in the water. One thing I noticed was my lifejackets seem to have shrunk up since I last wore them. I'm not sure what is up with that. The boat is muddy and slimy. A few things needs to be modified, but overall, I am very happy with the day. The lack of fish I will blame on the post front conditions.
