Miles would be a great fit in Arkansas IMO - they have a grass field don't they!
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

it was a bad move for Ark to move to the SEC. Everyone told them that they wouldnt compete moving out of TX for one and then playing in the SEC without as many TX players. I see Ark very similar to Nebraska who overestimate their clout. Even tho I think Ark is still in a better position than NE. ATM I think wasnt a bad move. They still recruit here and make a ton of money. They WILL compete in the SEC. Losing the influx of Texas recruits has assured Arkansas of .500 football forever.

I don't have a particular favorite to replace Burt just not a retread. Hopefully a defensive minded coach.

I miss the old SW Conference. That's when I really enjoyed watching OU, Texas, AR, etc. teams play. Never understood shy they broke that up -money and tv rights I guess. To hell with the fans.

I think we can compete in the sec. Petrino was on track honestly. The resources, school setting and new facilities/ stadium renovations are top notch. I think our recruiting and scheming in games has just sucked in the bielema era. there are a bunch of schools ranked and winning right now with far less money/ facilities/ entire state support that Arkansas can offer. It will be an interesting next few months, Ive got tickets to this weekends game now to support the newer direction and check out the other qb

Petrino was getting it done, but he absolutely should've lost his job. I thought Bret was the right hire at the time, but it just hast panned out. He is loved in Fayetteville and he and his wife appear to love it there, but I think it's time to move on. I didn't feel that way until a few weeks ago, and I hoped he would do enough to get another season, but even I've had enough.
