As of right now we are staying home for Thanksgiving. Going to my niece's wedding next Saturday. I don't feel like driving a couple hours one direction to come home the next day and drive another hour the opposite direction. So we're using the good ole I have to work Friday excuse.

Inject a bird with some creole butter, rub it good and drop it in the BE. Simple and quick. It'll be a good day!

This will be the 7th year of cooking a turkey using an Orion Smoker after injecting Cajun Butter and spices. Best 20 lb. bird every time.

Headed for Ark for turkey day weekend. We will eat traditional oven cooked, though, and it'll be delicioso! Mr. Chef of the family will be cooking....

Mom will roast one in the oven. The trick to keeping it from drying out is to stuff the cavity with oranges, or apples, and placing it breast side down.

Please do not laugh. I purchased a "Showtime Rotisserie Oven" several years ago from an infomercial. The turkey cooks to perfection every time. It is always juicy on the inside & crispy on the outside. All you need to do is "set it & forget it". grin
