I havent been to tradinghouse in a while now, I too wonder how the fishing is? The fish on fairfield are on the move and have moved from their winter stomping grounds. I wonder if the fish on Tradinghouse are doing the same? Has the plant been operating? Anyone have a temperature range?

Find the right temp and maybe the fish will be there.

was out there yesterday and the lake was full, many people catching reds on shad.

Great Job Redfin! I am glad to see we will be giving it another go this year! Hopefully those nasty winds will be a little more friendly this year. I am headed for THC tonight for three days of trolling around. I am looking forward to fishing with everyone agian.

On a different note has anyone been out there recently? I am planning on sticking to the old trusty pattern but any update on the bite would be very helpful!

We fished 8am to 2pm in extremely windy conditions and caught only two with one of those that escaped the net right at the boat. The one that went in the box was about 26" and the on that got away was in the 10lb range. Saturday we were covered in snow so decided to take the day off and hang out around the house and play cards with the family. It is currently 12:20 and we should be on the water in the next hour. I do not know what to expect with the post cold front conditions but we are going to give it a go. Zero wind and about 48 degrees right now. I will post up our results when I get to the house tonight.

I'll try to make it this year. Especially if I get a personal invite from Z71 to fish with him and his family, I want to stand right next to Rusty. That Boy has a knack for catching big fish. :-) I have it on the calendar but with us moving and all I'll just have to play it by ear. Ya'll need to come to Whitney May12th and fish the TSA tournament I am hosting at Uncle Gus' Marina. Also, see my post in the Off Topic about our Get Togather at the farm in June. Sorry Redfin, don't mean to highjack the thread.

Yea Redfin you need to come to the Get Togeather and see how nice that Kansas Buck looks on the wall. Bring your guitar too, we'll be picking and grinnin sat nite. Every year when I start planning my Kansas trip I remeber that e-mail of the bruiser you sent me, guess that one will be forever embedded in my mind and causing many sleepless nights........around November. LOL. Hope to see yall at Trading House.

Sweeeeeet! It will all depend on whether I get booked for that weekend or not. Fishing full time now so gotta take em when I get em.

I would love to come and fish with you all. Never been to that lake. Somebody give me some tips and I'll be there.

Vaughn - do you have a GPS/Map unit on your boat with the Navionics chip? Tradinghouse is on that Navionics chip. I'll send you a PM with some tips and a few map shots...
