They are definately good, I used to use them and still have a pile of them in my box. Did notice a drop in takes after using them for about 6 months (1/2 time used 1/2 time not...). The snagless jigheads from Southern Pro are absolutely amazing, they have a hook shape that goes in the front of the body, comes out the bottom, then sticks back into the belly exactly like rigging a senko. I've only ever broke off 1 and measured hookup ratio and didn't notice a difference.

There's the old saying: "It's not the arrow, it's the Indian"...very true here.

The more you fish brush, the more chances we all have of hanging a jig up. If you are hanging up more than you would like...here are a few tips:

- Use a 1/8 or 1/4 oz jig. The heavier weight will really help you "feel" your way around the brush. Also the hook gap is wider, which can make it easier to pull them free.
- As mentioned above, I use 20lb braid (6lb diameter). I don't use a mono leader, but you can do what you want. I can pull probably 85% of them free.
- Slow down. Fishing brush is not a sprint, think of it as a marathon.
- It's easy to say that brush and fish bite a jig differently wink but fish can bite jigs really weird sometimes. Really paying attention to what happened when you caught a fish, and try to repeat that scenario.

Good luck and have fun!
