Anyone else have a "fear" of this happening. I didn't until I read this.

Why OK. crazy lives everywhere. Because we drive those toll roads to MO alot more often than I'm in these places, and it just seems like it'd be so easy for someone to do it and duck back off into the woods. Not just OK...parts of DFW, Houston, Austin, SA..... I do agree though, crazy lives everywhere.

Some guys I went to high school with got caught throwing rocks and shooting fireworks at people off a bridge over 287. Judge sent them all to a juvenile detention center for a week. I can't remember where but, I guess it wasn't a pleasant experience for them, as they were all pretty different when they came back.

I think it was in the mid '80s, some kids got caught scattering old starters, alternators and manifolds along I 20 near Longview. Cars would hit them and get messed up. Family owned a garage at the nearest exit.

When I'm driving I fear cell phone texters much more than rock throwers.

Had something similar happen when I was young kid in Ft Worth.. the whole family was loaded up in the ole Crown Vic and someone threw a basketball off an overpass on 35, busted the front windshield of the car. We were lucky dad was driving and able to get the car stopped and to the shoulder.

One of my former students here in the Garland area, (I do not live in Garland) was arrested two days ago for murder.
I have his brother in class now. Well, he's on my role, but he's only been in class 3 times in about 10 weeks.
People of this world, teens, out having fun, just do not care. It's because most of them are not held accountable, and they were never taught respect.

Saw it happen when I lived in Miami. Car in front of me had windshield explode on passenger side at 70 mph in heavy traffic as we passed under overpass. I got hit by the remnants that bounced up from car ahead of me. More than one big rock dropped/thrown as another brick sized rock busted on the other side of the car at the same time. Could see 4 or 5 kids running off in my rear view mirror as I got far enough to see above. Car that got hit pulled off the road, I kept going as it happened quick and so much traffic. There had been a lot of it going on and it was in the news a lot prior to it happening.. like the thing for kids to do at the time.

Wow. Now I understand why the rebuilt bridges over 121 have those fences up top. Here I thought they were to protect pedestrians from falling off.
