Delete all "anchor" rule wording. Put a 20 yard distance rule in place.

Delete all "anchor" rule wording. Put a 20 yard distance rule in place. 20 is too close. Make it 50 unless agreed upon between the anglers. This would force people to talk to each other on the lake instead of bitching on TFF about how someone got too close to you.

Make it 25 and he gets 25 on each side. That's a good 75 feet on both sides. I don't see an issue. As for spot lock...no need for a rule. Someone coming up on me can't tell when my Talon is down or my spot lock is on. Give me 75ft and and stay clear of where I'm casting and we're all good.

I get what you are saying about the bank, but 25 is too close off shore. Doesn't really matter, it is an un-enforceable rule anyway unless you keep a rangefinder in your boat.
