fished this am. at 930 caught a 14.25 inch black bass, 10.00 am a 16.25. 10.30 a 12 inch, 10.45 a 12 inch, 12,30 a 9 inch. all on a white spinnerbait less than 6 feet off the bank.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

There are plenty fish living in that clear water, you just have to know how to catch them can u consistantly pattern legal bass on the south end of belton, near temple lake park, blora, the dam area , ect. ? . Yes The fish don't travel miles up lake to get to the north end when conditions aren't favorable for them down south. You just have to figure out how to catch them. I would respectfully say, if theres no baitfish there, they will go wherever they have to to find them. I dont believe there are enough crusdtaceans on belton to sustain a large smallmouth population alone. JMO

On Belton today and saw lots of muddy water way south of Megregor park. Pulled into a small cove and caught a few Smallies and one decent LMB all on a T-Rigged blue fleck 7" powerworm.
