THIS ^^^

The Double Uni has become my favorite knot for tying two pieces of line together. Mono to Mono. Braid to Mono.
It has never failed me. In knot strength tests this is one of the very strongest. Very easy to tie once you've got it.

Just use the Grandpa Method -- "Son. Go tie this knot 25 times and then come back and let me watch
you tie the 26th."

This is a good video showing tying the Double Uni --

I'm glad I'm not the only one with that problem.

I have to use a pair of forceps and have a YouTube video running in front of me to tie an Albright knot!

If I'm uncoordinated that day, I just hold the line after I pass it through the loop with my mouth. Cinching it down good is the most important part. I don't spit on it, don't laugh, but I use ear wax! Don't laugh until you try it. Slips right through the rod eyes.

I hated retying that knot when I broke off. It became easier, and now I don't think twice.
