I've always enjoyed watching HH but the VOD is not one of my favorites. I can tell when a VOD has been watched here on metroplex lakes because you can take a number and watch the boats locating the fishing holes mentioned on the show. Just seem to make more community holes. Still best of luck to the entire crew. Just my two cents. The VOD had little do to with that actually. People have watched network shows for years and tried Bill's tips/locations/tactics. It's what the show is based on and has always been based on. Amazing to me that someone could be bothered by someone on "their" hole after watching the show. "Owned" public water has always been interesting to me.

My favorite show out there by far. I've been a VOD subscriber the past two years and very much worth the money. I'll continue to support as long as Bill and Dirk are wanting to put out content.
Thanks Mark for putting out a good product since you purchased HH. The changes that were made were nice upgrades.

This forum has much, much, much more to do with making community holes than Honey Hole ever did or will.

Moving the HH program and archives to paid only. Old archived episodes have past sponsors etc. Secondly, there's only a small amount of YT revenue and not worth the time to manage that platform. Yes, past sponsors that made those shows possible. Also could be edited out, although I understand not wanting to do that since it would take time/money. Are they conflicting sponsors to your partners today? Just seems somewhat pointless to take them off YouTube where they could literally live and be watched forever. And I am not sure what time goes into managing YouTube once a video is uploaded. no motivation for someone to purchase them on VOD if they're up on YT. A spoonful of honesty there.

Good luck to everyone, but I will be not watching the VOD. One of my favorite shows to watch on Youtube. Can you rent/sell old episodes to Netflix like Al Linder did for the Angling Edge?

For everyone (like me) who say's they are out, there might be someone who'll pay. The biggest benefit of YouTube and being on the air was the traffic you would get to the VOD. Without those platforms I predict the traffic won't be sustainable. Sure, look at my sig, my predictions don't always come true! Good luck to Bill in his next endeavor. It is a shame we are losing a Texas Institution! I remember watching the show on Sundays as a kid!!!
Let's also be honest, the focus on "Trophy Bass Fishing in the Lonestar State" had sort of dropped some in recent years. Bill makes it clear how he films episodes, and I respect him for that. It was one of the only "Real" fishing shows left, and the only one that is truly based in Texas fishing of any kind (it just happened to be Bass). It will be missed!!!

RIP HH! Been watching it since inception. Deja Vu, feel like I've been to this funeral before.
