Looking to get a good pair. I have the boomerang clippers but they are getting dull. Let's hear the suggestions!

Stretch it tight before you cut it and most any scissors will work. Fingernail clippers too.

I use braid on most of my combos and I've tried all the of the above. The Pitbull cutters are best I have used. You don't have to pull the line tight like you do with regular scissors. To me they are worth the $20.

Pitbull Tackle Cutters. Can't find anything better!

I use a pair of stainless steel finger nail clippers. Clips braided line just fine without having to pull it tight.

I have these. Cheap and work great. They are serrated which helps hold the braid in place. Tolerances are tight so you don't have to try 2-3 times before you cut the line.

About $10, plus batteries. Works great.

Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

You have the best thing out there. For $10 get another pair. I love the tether feature. So much better than hunting for scissors.

Those cheap $2 Rapala scissors in the bucket at Academy... they're surprisingly sharp and are darn near disposable at that price.
