I think the Aggie hat explains everything!  I'm gonna let you slide this one time on that comment. I caught one over 14 and best guess that one may be shy of 10. Anytime you think you have a DD I suggest weighing it on certified scales, it's worth the effort and eliminates people like me guessing based on a picture. Could be the size of the guy holding it makes it look smaller but regardless a nice bass.

No matter the weight, it's a pig! Those eyes are really bugged-out and the tail is very thick. Pictures can be deceiving... Nice fish!! Congrats to the angler!

Yeah, length is distorted because bottom of the fish is closer to angler than camera...was probably swinging back and forth while picture was snapped. A better picture could legitimize the claim, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Nice fish!
