Toyo AT II 10 ply Open Country is where it's at. Will pull up a boat up a frozen boat ramp covered in snot moss. Avoid the the boat ramp fail. thumb

those are not the G2. I've already found the older AT. The G2, while appears the same, was completely redesigned in terms of construction and materials utilized. Hence the treadlife.

I have ko2 on my truck now, they have some miles on em but suck on wet roads.. I been looking at getting the cooper st max when these wear out.. they are costly tho.

Might revert my thoughts back to the Toyo's.

Wonder what the G2 signifies? The "performance ratings" cart on their website for both tires has the has the exact same ratings for both tires with the only exception being the UTQG Treadwear being 100 less than the G2.

I think the g2 is a bit different compound, my 35's don't come in the non g2.

when I was researching tires the g2 seemed to have a longer tread life warranty and slightly better speed rating etc.

g2 also has full depth siping, the other one is not full depth. there are some minor differences in design

I know its an apples/ oranges comparison to the size you have but I run 325/60-20's on my Super Duty. When it was brand new I put on Goodyear DuraTrac's. Pretty aggressive tread but surprisingly quiet. Had almost 70k on them when I replaced them and they probably had another 10k left in them but was going on some long road trips and didn't want to chance it. Rotated them every oil change which is about 7k or so and I'm lead footed so was amazed on the miles I got out of them. I should have went with them again but instead I went with the BFG KO2's because of all the raves I've read about them. Only have about 8k on them so far. Quiet and smooth but if there's the least bit of moisture on the road they flat our suck. Way too slick, the DuraTracks gripped like iron. Another grip with the KO2's is they love to throw rocks.

I have a set of G2's on my truck. So far so good. but that's only about 9k miles. They look better. I want to throat punch tire price setters.

only ones my Excursion wont eat up in 30K miles are the NITTO tires. even went and put some on the wife's camaro ss (not at,of course). great ride and very durable, and quiet. i dont like noisy tires.
