Umm, yes, parts were indeed in turn-over this past weekend. Remember, all parts of the lake don't turn over at the same time.

I just tooled around out there about 10 days ago with a buddy and managed 7 fish in about 4 hours up to about 7#. We caught all of our except one in that same 9-15" range Billy mentioned. Just was blind casting around points with timber with a Texas Rig to catch them. We also caught some nice tourney fish doing that and there was bait EVERYWHERE.

Me and a local that lives on the lake caught 15 Saturday, biggest being around 4lbs

I'd be happy to repeat that come next weekend for the Sealy Big Bass Splash!

The gates were open, the wind was from the east, it was to windy or there was no ripple. The barometer is off as are the solunar tables(dating myself a bit on the solunar tables). Too much fishing pressure, no vegetation, TM died after 2 hours. OK guys I am kidding but could not resist. I have been there.

A friend and I fished fork yesterday. Hadn't been there in over a year. Caught 18- first fish and last 3 were in shallow grass, the rest between 12 and 22ft on points and humps. Caught the deep fish on c-rig and drop shot only. Threw everything at them but they were being picky. Finesse plastics only. Shallow fish were on wacky rigs.
Big fish was almost 7lbs, the rest were under 3lbs but were nice chunks mostly.

The lake is definetly in turnover mode as we speak. Lots of brown bubbles and junk all over the surface. BBS should be a lot of fun.

Thermocline disappeared on me in parts of the lake, but I do not think the lake is in full blown turn over. I have seen junk, bubbles and the blobs since the eclipse. Gates are closed....

Took this yesterday. Oh ya, these are not bass btw....I am a catfisherman these days. Since the front 2 days ago the catfish went a lot deeper, had been in 25ft and now they are stacking in mid 30s...my biggest blue came out of 41ft. Thermocline in this area had been very defined in 28 foot.
