 FLW Costa Series Co-angler Cost?

Anyone know the all in (approximate) cost to fish as a co-angler in the FLW Costa Series? I know entry is $550, but with hotels, gas etc.

Only you know what your going to spend on hotels and etc. part of the equation.
When I was coangling, I pretty much used $40 as a starting point to give my boater for gas.
If we were making very long runs or he went out of his way to put me on winning quality fish then I would offer more. I've had a couple to tell me not to worry about gas money but I always offered no matter how The day went.

Different trail, but when I fished the BASS opens, it would run me about $1200-1300 per event with gas, lodging, food, etc.

Yeah the "cost" besides entry fees will def depend on you and your preferred comfort level. For me on the BASS Open side(as a Co-angler) it kinda breaks down like this-
room- split with a couple other guys so $20-30 a night for at least 2 nights(I don't travel early as I don't bring my boat to prefish)
gas for boater- usually depends on how far we run and if they aren't a backseater so can run $30-60 per day and 2 days
gas for travel- that varies depending on where the location is but it takes about $30 to fill my tank and usually 2-3 fill-ups per trip
meals/snacks/drinks- usually grab snacks for the day and then eat 1 good meal at night so maybe $30 a day for that all stuff.
Let's see: $40 + 60 + 60 + 60 = $220 at the cheapest. Oh forgot $40 per night for my dogs to be kenneled for 3 days so up to $340 now minimum. If I were to go up on Monday or Tuesday that just adds an additional $100 per night at least.
My entry fee is $425 + $340(at least) = $765 for a 3 day/2 night trip.

Appreciate all the feedback. So far on an average looks like around $1000-$1200 per event. Depending on location. I have a couple of possible sponsers and they are asking how much I need to run the season. I don't think BASS opens now that the schedule is different. So, FLW Costa is looking good. 3 events all within 4 hrs. Wife says go for it. That always makes it better!

I also would spend the entire week...Sunday to Sunday. I had a regular roommate, Brett Pruett. He's struggling along on the Elite tour right now. <<<<THATS EXPENSIVE!! I would also take my own boat to pre fish. So I'd have extra fuel costs as well as having to find the right hotels for us to have boat access and charging. You also need to add in the "bait run". You know, the run to get what works on that lake at that time. And you ain't got it...neither does most everyone else! Sometimes it is a long drive away from the lake to find a tackle shop that isn't sold out in 5 minutes. There are guys that go cheap. And that's awesome. I approached it as a vacation and a very serious trip that I wanted to win. No corners cut.

I fish the opens as a co angler. I recommend anyone to try them if you are interested in co angling.
