we had severe flooding here back in the 90's and those on welfare or with no credit got fema grants to replace their belongings and they didn't have to pay them back...responsible taxpayers got low interest loans..... lame huh why not treat everybody equal

I'm stuck (kinda) at the hospital in Beaumont. All roads out /in are closed. I was one of the last vehicles down US 69 north of Beaumont and drove a 1/2 mile through 1-2' of water. Now sleeping at the hospital and working. Blackhawks and USCG helicopters been landing all day, The hospital has opened their outpatient pavilion to NH and flood refugees. I'll be here until the water goes down enough to go north and the hospital cancel their disaster protocols.
Still raining here quite moderately.
We're running low on beer. Moochers were quite prevalent. good luck Friend

Now beaumont has no water. They are moving patients from hospitals now. No water for the fire department or anything. Could get worse before it gets better. At least it's not raining!
