I just want to say thank you to all for the well wishes and congratulations on the sweepstakes. I was able to access my boat today and its truly a miracle. I am blessed. I think the boat/trailer floated and settled back down in the middle of the stall. Check out water level on the 2x4 in the stall. There were many stalls near mine that had doors ripped off and laying on the boats.

Wow! Great news. Wash the mud off of that trailer and you are ready to drop her in the lake.

Looks like everything is going to be fine. I haven't had time to clean it up and make sure there's no motor issues. Hopefully, I will get to it this weekend.

I needed to step back and realize its all about perspective. Its a boat. So many people lost everything. There were lives lost.
It is very gratifying to see Texans and folks from across the country unite. Police forces from across the country showing up to help out.

So often, the media wants to focus on the bad in this country. There are so many good people and good deeds being performed every day. In my opinion, its not reported on enough.
The majority of this country are hardworking, God fearing, respectful human beings.

Yes, mostly because I don't want mud daubers building nests in the hull.

Could not happen to a nicer guy. And one who will fully and thoroughly appreciate the experience.
