If that map is correct,no significant rain for Falcon.

Thanks, Mark. Kinda puckered down here. We'll be in Dallas for my parents 65th but the drive up tomorrow and back on Sunday could be a nightmare. And to the OP, no. This storm won't fill Falcon up.

I am about 25 mins N of Houston, SAN JAC flooded 2x last year within 6 weeks of each other and neighborhood near the river got hit real hard. I am thinking same thing this time, hope these people move on, dont know how many times I could go thru that mess. When it recedes, the smell over there was horrendous from all the mud.

But if a storm can fill up Travis like it did last year, same thing happening to Falcon seems possible. No telling where this thing will go still though, other than " TX" !!!

Wow Chris, 65 years congratulations to your parents. That is unheard of these days.
To the OP, Doubt Falcon will see anything from Harvey. It sounds like Harvey is going to go in reverse after land fall and head back out into the Gulf. Then head towards to La.

Hard to say what it will do. Predicting rain for the next 3-4 days.

X2...that is awesome!

As far as the rain goes, our little farm is about to get hammered up in Austin Co. if the path goes as projected. I'm headed up after work to move the cattle to the front pasture and get my feeder and cameras up out of the bottom before I lose them for the 3 time in 5 years. But that's a small cost against what others will be going through, so I'm thankful that hunting gear is all I'm worrying about. The house is on a hill, so other than wind damage, it'll be okay

Those in low lying areas will be in my thoughts and prayers

Most of Falcon's water comes from Mexico.

Harvey is now projected to hit between Brownsville and Corpus Christi. I guess all the area lakes will benefit now. Agree that both Amistad and Falcon rely more on the snow pack up in the Rockies though. It would really be nice to look at that map on the "Texas Water Data" and see everything in Texas in dark blue. I've never seen it that way before.

Still too early to tell. Looks like it is tracking more westward than north right now but still a long way out. If it stalls over south Texas then it could put a lot of water in the lakes in that region.
