It's not my lake, public water and I don't mind sharing it. I promise you if you go through the week you probably want see over 5 boats. Everybody wants to go to Fork and catch a biggun. And if you really want to be by yourself go at night, that's when the bite gets crazy. Ask Joe Todd. I started fishing Fork in 1986 and it was my favorite lake up until about 7 years ago. Caught a 14.18 out of it but I had rather fish a lake like PK now. Clear water and something is always biting.


I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

Quiet now. That is supposed to be a secret. I do agree with you however. Only going to get better if the algae stays away.


Sorry Joe but they ain't gonna show up anyway. Fork is where it's at and that 20 lb'er is out there waiting just for them.

algae is getting bad again, a lot of dead fish. All the 6-7 pound smallmouth have died so stay and fish the east Texas lakes, a lot more fish and bigger fish.

No buddy all the 6-7 pound died because of all the Hydrilla and other grasses that have taken over PK. nannyboo nannyboo
