I didn't see any footage but a 23+ lbs bag there was done with green fish. Generally you don't catch the big ones there with a drop shot. They normally relate to docks &/or grass.

Not sure if versatility is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Aaron Martens. He's a great elite class angler, but when I think of versatile fishing styles, guy's like Rick Clunn, KVD, Roland Martin, Skeet Reese and Michael Iaconelli come too my mind.

Edwin Evers is another that comes to mind. He's won several Ts up north in gin clear water, won a classic fishing totally different areas of the lake each day, he's won on rivers, natural lakes, reservoirs, everything from finesse techniques to pitchin a big jig.

Yes he used a drop shot. I've always thought of him as a "finesse" angler.
