As a fishing/boat person, the first consideration on buying any house is can I or how will I get my boat to a proper storage spot. It would have to be a really really good deal to not consider that.

Unless you were busy having kids at the time and didn't ever consider you might be bitten by the bug wink

I just hope his small SUV is taller that a Ford because it's getting deep in here.
almost always goes this direction when discussing vehicles. As far as traction goes I will put my Tacoma with ATRAC and locker up against any other stock pick up or SUV.

My Ford 4x4 came with a rear locker. Traction has never been an issue for me, either. Much better than my prior limited slips.

wrong, GM repaid the loan portion of the automaker bailout ahead of schedule, with interest. It used TARP money it had already received but hadn’t spent. And taxpayers are still stuck with GM stock that isn’t worth what was paid for it.
US govt already sold their stock. My point is that politics are a bad motivation for wasting your money on an inferior truck to then go and buy an overpriced small SUV to solve the issue.

My Ram turning radius is about 2' better than the Ford, so it's quite a bit improved but not as good as a small SUV. My point was that maybe he wouldn't have had to switch vehicles again and waste more money if he hadn't made his original purchase based on a political perspective that isn't even accurate.

Ram needed a tight turning radius. It's tough to push something that size through a full repair shop and turn into a mechanic's bay.
