skeeter james, that is why I did not go out this week. Figured 4th of July people still on vacation. Will look forward to start going out again tomorrow. I am very anxious to continue my shake down of my (new to me) old boat. Just put a new rectifier and anxious to see if it works and how the motor does. Last time the bolts came out of the starter, and turned out the 4 bolts that hold the bearing carrier assy, were all loose. Just minor stuff so far I hope. Will be glad when I am done and can finally start crappie fishing again. Have only been one time since Mar when my motor blew up on my old boat (which I junked at the land fill), the boat not the motor.

SJ, I actually heard a guy that had a ski boat say we anglers have the "whole north end of the lake (on RR) to fish so we shouldn't complain." I guess he was ignorant to the fact that the COE brushpiles are in open water UNDER his private ski area. Some people are just going to be jerks no matter what.

Hey man Aren't you retired? You don't have to fish weekends . And sounds like those are Community holes.

Yes sir, I'm retired but between the weather and honey do's I haven't fished much lately and was willing to brave the weekend. Was wondering about you the other day....haven't seen you on the water in a long time and hoping all is well.

I was out Saterday and didn't catch much. Did get checked by the wardens and lots of boats. I quit early and went home for the honey do's. Can't wait till I get to retire and not fish the weekends.

My boat is down, but thankfully I have a friend I go with so I still feel the thump about once a week. We are doing good other than the bad knees. See ya on the water.
