Time to get it wet! what photo manager do you use WMB? Photobucket is charging now & I can`t see paying for something that should be free.I need a new one.

I use photobucket. They don't charge me because I've never given them any credit card info.....? When did this start?

I don`t know when it started but they are charging for third party hosting now according to recent changes on their website. They even took my sig photo down from the Forum as I`ve noticed they did the same to other TFFers. They want you to upgrade to a payed subscription which aint gonna happen with me.Anyway CONGRATS on the new Tube!!You are really gonna like how comfortable it is. Yours looks a lot different than mine color wise. Your`s has a light blu/gray accent to it where mine has a blk accent to it.Guess mine is the old style.IDK I would have met you down there Sunday but my bed had magnetic energy so....there it is.Don`t give up on me.

sirjet,WMB & others there are so many FF out there it`s hard to say which one is right for someone but I would suggest wnichever one you choose make sure it has DI and GPS.GPs will help you navigate and mark waypoints on the map that you can come back to and fish another day & the DI will show you what`s underneath you when you get there.I have an old Lowrance elite 4xHDI on my tube and It doesn`t have GPS.The X means no GPS on the Lowrance Units I didn`t know it at the time of the purchase but now I do.Keep this in mind it you opt for a Lowrance unit. I don`t know about Humminbird units. You can go to www.floattubefanatics.com and look at Videos of some of the set ups for Float Tubes and Pontoons and get an idea of what you may want to do.Wade is a pretty kool guy to talk with and he will suggest to you over the phone what set up is best for you.He makes a complete set up for float Tubes etc..

So what is a good depth finder for mine? Don't laugh - well maybe a little. 99% of my money goes to my kids and bills so I have to get very creative. I just use an old Elite 3x that I have jury rigged on to my tube. Mostly just for getting a depth reading. I could pack it down into something much smaller and manageable, but that's what I had laying around at the time. Now if I could only find time to go fish.

WMB i am sorry. Not trying to jack your post. But this Fish finder thing is important to me. My other question is. Where do I put the transducer? Wouldn't it pick up the fins everytime you kick?

Look into Fishfindermounts.com. They have a complete tube fish finder mounting system for around 115$. It is worth every penny and comes with a charged battery, strap, transducer holder and everything that you would need and is a very good quality. I have been using mine for a few weeks and love. I haven't noticed any interference from the fins.
