Yeah. We had entirely too many flatheads before noodling became legal. smirk

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish, he will sit in a boat all day and drink beer.

I know noodeler's in Oklahoma and Arkansas that when they go this time of year It is common to bag 40lb + fish and i mean several every time they go...and they go a lot....Hit the same spots put out the same barrels and old tin horns.....Usually the hand fisherman are quiet about their catches.... peep

If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....

Ok I never wanted to bash anyone noodling. I know if I were very hungry I would grab a catfish also. Fortunately I have never been hungry enough to stick my hand into an angry blue cats mouth and risk drowning. Most noodlers I have met are very nice folks but have some really good snake and turtle stories. Lol no sticking my hands in a turtles mouth either.

I heard word of some 70lbers and a 90 lber being drug out of Texoma again. I ain't going underwater and sticking my hand in no hole though as the alligators are on the rise... Lol! Those sonovaguns are starting to pop up in a lot of waters they've never been seen in and big ones. I read an article not too long ago about the Japenese in World War II. The Ramree Island Massacre or whatever. It wasn't alligators but close enough. The British forces pushed around 1000 Japenese combatants into the swamps. For days the crocodiles there attacked them in mass and only around 400 or so survived. It was the most deadly crocodile attack in the history of mankind they say. They also said the nights we're the worst as screams, gunfire and rumbling animals took over the darkness. Could you imagine that??? slinger Now, I'll tangle with one if I'm close to a hospital and it's on the deck of my boat or on dry ground but not in some foreign world under the wateEEE. Lol! fish cheers

Those who dance are considered mad by those who cannot hear the music.
