Can't believe no one mentioned James McMurtry. James McMurty is one of the best singer/song writers that is lucky enough to call Texas home. It is sad that a lot of singer/song writers get over looked. I was thinking the other day that it would be funny as hell if he had played out here in the middle or levelland on that Robert Earl Keen tribute album. The last time we saw James McMurtry he added a few verses to choctaw bingo. Curtis Mcmurtry (James McMurty's son) opened for him and was great.

Y'all seriously need to give TJ Broscoff a chance. He's playing San Angelo tonight. I've known a few fighter jocks who went through there and have no desire to visit. Snake Farm is ok, it was never one of my favorites from RWH. My wife got us tickets to see him in a few weeks in Dallas at the Kessler. I like his more haunting songs.
