Flounder gigging here in Rockport and Port Aransas has been great with some very fast limits. Every night we come back with limits some nights faster than others but I always stick it out. Here lately lots new gigging guides and some old ones don't care any more. This last week alone we have had some windy nights and very high tides and it sickens me when these guides cancel 1 hour before a trip after someone has driven 100s of miles and paid for a hotel to go fishing. No matter what the weather is we are gonna try to go and if the fish arent there I will make it right you but when someone drives all the way down here I owe it to them to atleast try as long as if the conditions are not life threatening.
