My last boat had more invested in electronics than the boat cost. Was more important to me to have functionality over shiny.

My boat is worth about as much as my electronics. Humminbird 798 in dash, 998 at the console, 1199 up front, transom mount 360, Hydrowave, 12' Talon and an 80lb Ultrex with IPilot link.
They're all tools to make my time on the water more productive.
