East Fork is open at both ramps per current report at USACE.
Prepare for the future-it will be here tomorrow.

Lavon is the only lake where I can consistently find deeper fish. Main lake points and drop offs are easy pickings with a drop shot, c-rig, or deep crank. That lake is loaded with big fish. A 20lb day is just another day on Lavon.

I will be fishing Lavon a bunch this summer...can not wait! Bringing my boat home from Fork.
What is the safest and best place to run out of or launch? East Fork is best in my opinion. Lavon can be good once you figure it out. I like to fish it deep c-rigging humps and other structure. Lots of bait fish and some of the biggest gizzard shad I've ever seen. Very little vegetation which is a bummer. Been fishing it for years. Really close to the house and I can be on the water in 20min.

I launch out of Collin Park and fish main lake usually

I miss Lavon. I used to fish it all the time before they killed off all the hydrilla and pads.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.
