Yes Sir the outfitters depend on the summer months for sure. With all the rain fall we have been having this should be a good season for them. One more good rain for Canyon Lake to hit pool and the flow agreement will kick in. If that happens we are sure to have some holdover trout, as well as a healthier population of every other kind of fish we all enjoy pulling out of the Guadalupe. Yes Sir one more "Super Soaking" for the summer and water bodies would be really great.

I found myself near Cypress Bend Park with about 15 minutes to kill earlier today. Just enough time to rig the fly rod and chunk a popper into the Guadalupe. Got this on the second or third cast. I was going to let it go anyway, but seeing as how it's already avoided becoming dinner at least once, I was happy to watch it swim away.
