Some folks go to Whataburger and order no onions, no mustard, no pickles, add mayo and bacon. Then call it average. That isn't a Whataburger. Hit or miss is true though. The one on 82 in Gainesville will serve a cold burger in the drive-thru. The one on 82 in Whitesboro is dependable.

I would guess that if Lotaburger's were in Texas and not NM where there are few people but bunches of outlets, they would be #1. But who cares.

While WB may sell more burgers, only because they have more stores, they are no better than second as far as quality. In and Out Burger is number one in quality.

I am still an IN and OUT fan, Food is good and consistent anywhere you go.
Whataburger is hit and miss, and I hear they suxs outside Texas.
5 Guys I tried again last week, not even close to Whataburger or In and Out. I've been sick for years!

Ever notice there's a WB every 120 feet in Corpus Christi..? My home town. You are correct about that. I lived there for about 18 years altogether. You can stand in the parking lot of one WB and throw a rock to another. Corp HQ used to be off of Everhart rd in Corpus but guess when it grew they moved to SA.
