I was hoping you would tell it wouldn't be a good idea to put my 921 in below the dam so I had a good excuse to buy me a 18-19 ft Express.
I may buy an Alum boat before the years out.

Stay in the middle you should be fine. There's always the chance of a random floater so keep an eye out. It's fun and occasionally run into a big one. It's great light line water. Call the Corp and get the generating schedule. Either launch at bevelport or hwy 63 depending on how far you wanna float

Just a tip on launching if you don't have power poles. If your by yourself I would launch at 63 or walnut ridge and run up the river. There isn't a current break at bevelport and not a good spot to beach the boat so by yourself you could lose the boat quick. I got lucky that 63 ramp is tucked in just enough to get out of the current
