Still missing the coast! Was going fishing at the local pond but got sidetracked with live music and free food happening next to the local pond! Post.

Knew the 61st Street Fishing Pier had a Pier Cam that was working but looks like it went offline some time ago. Just noticed that the Galveston Fishing Pier has a live stream... Livestream.

Went fishing; almost struck out but able to save the day catching two Sunfish on the two piece Micro Fly Rod. Post.

Rain today but did get the latest iFishNews posted - June 24, 2017! This one is back to the coast but focuses on fishing from shore! May be of interest to some.

Caught several sunfish with the little Micro Fly Rod, posted pics on instagram; got sidetracked scouting a pond with the Water Wolf Camera. Bluegill, Sunfish, and Catfish... Video.

Was a tough round but at least others in our group caught fish. Rigged the fly rod with a sabiki rig and mounted the railblaza rod holder to the little kayak. Holder works well; fly rod stayed put... Windy Day at Clear Lake.

PS: Lesson learned this outing, watch for jet skiers without side numbers. Likely they did not take the PWC Course.

Back again today; mojo was off but did bring the Water Wolf Camera. Hope to post video of what lurked below at a later date. Happy 4th of July! Post.
