I am trying to convince my wife that it is time for me to take up fly fishing and get a 5 wt. combo for the trip to take with my UL spinning gear.
Will look up the Martin tuna can reels...any other suggestions for a goodish combo w backing leader tippet etc for under $200? I googled it but got a lot of different results and was wandering what the local opinion was as I will mostly be using it in my stock tank for sunfish crappie and the occasional bass. Most good manufacturers and outdoor retail chains have good starter outfits in your price range. Check TFO, Cabela's, Bass Pro, etc. Orvis has an Encounter entry level outfit on their website for $169 for rod, reel, line. In five or six weight (what you want as a starter size for the fish you say you want to pursue).
