Are there any over the counter rods that come with recoil guides. I have had a bad week breaking eyes off of two rods. thinking about giving them a shot on a cheaper rod.

Academy has one of their brands that runs recoil guides. Only one I can think of besides Power Tackle.
I can backlash toilet paper.

Some older G-Loomis models...I switched out several for the same reason and tell Shane to call me when one comes in on trade. Southwestern Parts, worth a shot, got 5 or 6 of them there.

In the past year I bought two NRX and two GLX and the upper half of the guides are recoil. So think Loomis still uses them.

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he will sit in a boat all day and drink beer.

13 envy blacks used them. Not sure if they still will, looks like an update is in the works.

You can get titanium recoil guides put on any rod you'd like or already have. The fact is that from fly rods to swimbait/musky rods.. and everything in between.. titanium double footed recoil guides cost a pretty penny. Quadruple the cost of Fuji guides. My guess is that if you could get most any mainstream or custom rod maker if he'd put that on his rods.. no costs spared.. that they would put double footed recoil guides on... But at $100 per rod extra they aren't going to suggest it because of the shock value. Just my opinion...

Thanks. What do you think of the small low profile guides some folks now use?

Thanks guys. I bought a powertackle early this year when the new ones came out. Mine does not have the recoils but it is by far the best cranking rod I own. I bought the 7ft like combs used to crank with a lot and it is amazing how much easier the right rod can help with throwing deeper cranks.

As mentioned above I just want to reiterate 13 Fishing Black Envy rods do come with Recoil guides.
