6" or 8" I beam. 3/16" or even better 1/4" flanges. Pick up what that hoist will. Also put a trolley on the I beam. Move side to side. Not sure I want a trolley. It will be to high for me to get at without a ladder and I don't really want the part I'm lifting to be able to move freely
