Throw a frog, swim jig, and a drop shot. You should get bit.

Started fishing about 10:00, launched at 515 east and went up north and fished for a bit. Only caught 1 up north so we changed areas. Turns out none of the coved would be productive for us till we went to the last spot which was chaney at around 3:00 we only caught 1 in there too. We fished till about 4 and the biggest thing we caught was a bad sun burn. If you want to fish shallow you need to fish 6-9....AM or PM....be a better use of your 6 hours and you won't get sunburn This is true, the last few times I have been to fork the bite happened either early 6am-9am just like he says.. (at least if you are bank beating)...and the most productive is the 30 minutes right as the sun is setting into dusk...other than that a new game plan is needed. Thanks for updating us.

Fished from 6-3 on Saturday. Caught 20, all very shallow. Biggest was 5-4. All on soft plastics.
