I switched back to the old cord after the "G" Force handle broke, lucky I had may old cord onboard.

I don't post much, but thought I'd share what I did on this. I had the "G" force handle and it broke. Easy fix, get about a 2" dowel rod, drill a hole, then tap a small recess hole for the crimp. I then took some heat shrink to cover the dowel rod and to cover the crimp, also keeps dowel rod from sliding down cord.

3/16 plastic coated cable at Home depot and the crimp parts to match cost me about $8.00 for enough to do mine and my partners trolling motors. We used the existing handles but so far working great!
