I have been using Round Up for southern lawns this year with good results. Spray applicator for you hose. Has worked well on my San Augustine lawn. St. Augustine is fairly easy to take care of, Bermuda can be much more difficult from mine experience Ain't that the truth. When I lived in Plano we had all Bermuda. I kept it looking good but it was a chore. Now in Houston I have all St Augustine and it's a breeze. Water, Pre-emergent, Scotts. Easy as that. Just hope you don't start getting Take All Patch, Grey Leaf Spot, Brown Patch, Large Patch, ect............ then it can start to get expensive and be a pain. Being that you are an expert and certified and all please feel free to suggest something.

It is a lot more entertaining to watch you try and figure this out on your own.

I just checked the yard I sprayed with Image. It is certainly killing stuff lol. Appears to be killing grass not weeds. Don't overspray the rates on the label with Image. It did pretty good on my yard killed 70% of the weeds, I sprayed it a 2nd time a month later. Killed 13 pallets of Centipede that had been there for a couple of years.

Use something w/2-4,D in it for the broadleaf stuff. Image is the only thing that I found to work on my nutsedge and not harm my bermuda. Use domyownpestcontrol.com and get the stronger, good stuff.

I think Image is pretty solid. I don't like the premixed that just screws into the water hose. Can't figure out my rate to apply it. I get the concentrated and set my spray bottle on two. It does yellow the Bermuda but it will come back strong and it will knock out the weeds.

What product that you can actually buy works on weeds/crab grass post emergent and won't kill burmuda. I am currently experimenting with the following.
Bayer season long Bayer with crab grass control ortho weed b gone and crab grass Image weed and crab grass
I used the ready mix for hose with each. I'm not interested in stuff that kills grass, I'm not interested in vinegar, salt bs. I know that prevention and thick grass is the best option but we are past the prevention phase and until the grass gets growing good I need things that work. Any other product I should try????
I suspect the Bayer sucks
The ortho is starting to work quick, a little yellowing of grass I assume by the quiclorac
Going to look at image now.
LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT...

Sorry but I have not bought anything from Home Depot and such in years so I can't recommend anything like that. If you have a sprayer and can put a flat fan nozzle on it as well as calibrate it I can make some fine suggestions but you will have to pay more and order [domyownpestcontrol.com is a good place for the public to order]. If you just want to kill crabgrass in Bermuda then Drive XLR8 with methylated seed oil is a great product. If you want to control crabgrass along with almost all broadleaf weeds and is safe for Bermuda and St Augustine then Celcius WG mixed with methylated seed oil is a great choice. The trouble is most of the products I use are expensive, but do several thousand sq feet, and are very low use rates. The Celcius I would recommend doing two medium rate apps that would be .085 oz per thousand sq feet. The stuff I use for nut sedge the 1.25 oz bottle will treat an acre. I do not mean to sound rude but calibration along with what kind a nozzle and amount of carrier [most of the time water] along with surfactant type means everything for weed control and most people will not take the time or read the label to use them right. I just really hate to give advice because weed identification and other things are the deciding factor and you would not believe how many times people get these wrong.

Let me ask a dumb question. I have heard of the drive. Can I rotate drive for crab grass and some otc stuff for broad leafs as the otc seems to handle broad leafs pretty well and what would be a safe interval between these treatments ???

Yes as long as it doesn't have the same active ingredient which most of the broadleaf spray is a 2-4-D. The Drive will get some of the common ones though like most clovers and dandelions

What about Dallisgrass? All I'm seeing that works is celcius wg and that's a hard get. I just ordered some online, don't know if they will actually ship it to me or not.

You can find it on Craigslist as well. From my experience you must wait till the heat of summer and apply it and then come back a about one week later and apply it again to kill it for goodl
